Wow! I can't believe that my last post was such a long time ago. That just goes to show you how busy my life has gotten over the last few months. Isaac is now 6 1/2 months old and getting bigger and more mobile all the time. He hasn't really started rolling yet, but his rocking seems to get him around. He is sitting pretty good these days though!
Now Kyla has been growing too. Its amazing how much she is talking these days. We have been definitely hearing some funny things come out of her mouth!
All in all the high lights of the last couple of months are these:
Kyla is now sleeping very well in her big girl bed. (that was a two month fight, but now its a breeze)
Went raspberry picking in Afton MN on a beautiful fall day.
Dustin got two deer bow hunting within ten minutes of each other. It was a ton of fun to be there with him when he got them!
We went to the zoo with our friends Kristy, Luke and their kids Isabel and Josiah.
Dustin finished his big garage job and has been busy with smaller jobs since then.
we have been going out for some nice fall hikes.
We finally got a shed! Dustin had some help putting it up. We are so excited to get some stuff out of the garage so we have more room!!!
And me, well I am pretty busy. I got a gym membership so that I could really focus on my health. I really want to lose my extra baby weight and just be all around fit. The first three weeks didn't do much for the weight loss, but i kept at it and just lost my first two pounds. I know the perseverance will pay off! The kiddos and I go to story time every wedsnesday morning. It has been so fun to watch kyla grow and participate. Isaac is eating food these days, so less nursing for me. He really loves to eat with us. The kids and I also are doing a play group once a week on Fridays. I am really getting to know some other ladies in the neighborhood which has been great! total answer to prayer.
Well, I feel like that is the big update. Not much to really, just living life........thats good enough for me.

So i got a new program that does cool things to my pictures. Here are just a few to see! you can see more at my flickr site!

We went to one of Daniels baseball games and we had fun sitting in the stands watching. We went to Jonica and Peters 4th of july BBQ. it was alot of fun hanging out with family and enjoying good food.
Kyla spent a bit of time playing in her little pool at home one day. She was really keyed up on plashing around and then the next minute she was taking all the water out of the pool to "water" the plants! She is such a big girl and a good helper.
Isaac is growing fast. It always amazes me when you watch them change from one day to the next and then before you know it, they are 3 months old!
Dustin has started working on building a large garage for a nice lady in Marine on the St. Croix. Praise the Lord, he has work! He also has quite a few jobs that he is bidding on including an entire basement finish, building a cabin up near Ashland, WI( i secretly HOPE he gets this one! it would be fun to go up there and stay for a mini "work" vacation!) and a remodel and addition up near clear lake. If he gets any or all of them we consider that providence from God!
We are finding that this July is just FULL of stuff for us to do! We have a baby dedication this weekend for Kyla and Isaac. Next weekend we are doing a multi family garage sale and the weekend after that is the St. Croix county fair! before you know it, it will be August!

memorable memorial weekend
Isaac with Grandpa Gene and Grandma Ginger
All smiles for Auntie Britta!
"Kissing Cousins" Peek a boo Mason!
We really had no plans for memorial day weekend. So, on Friday we took the kids to Willow River State park and had a BBQ. It was VERY quiet there. Dust and I figured it was because everyone who was camping either hadn't gotten there yet or they were setting up camp. So we practically had the place to ourselves! Kyla really enjoyed playing at the park and sliding down the slide. WE bought a $15 charcoal grill and it worked perfect!
Saturday we had everyone to our place for hotdogs, brats, smores and campfire pies.... very fun time. Kyla and Mason were playing like crazy and we could tell they were both going to sleep very well from all the activity.
Sunday was a normal day, except that we didn't make it to church due to a fever the night before. We think Kyla was just teething but who knows~
Monday was a normal day too..... Dustin did get off work a bit early, but we didn't do anything special.
I am so glad we had family come and spend some time with us on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day and what fun we had.
Isaac 2 months and more
here is just a couple newer pictures of Isaac and Kyla. Kyla seems to love having her picture taken if I am trying to get a new picture of Isaac. She is a very good big sister and she loves her baby brother. Isaac had his 2 month checkup Friday. He was 11 lbs 2 oz(35%) and only 21 inches long (1.46%). I know kids who are born 21 inches! oh well he has the short genes!!!!Dr Hansen was very pleased with his growth and I am too.
I have given him a couple nick names too. Chunky monkey.... well that seems obvious.....Mr. Bright eyes..Cuz he is and lastly Mr. Bubbles... cuz when he coos he blows bubble too. So adorable!
Kyla turns 2!

Whew. Been awhile! Kyla turned 2 on May 4th. and we had a lot of fun celebrating her big day. She was in a great mood and she was working the crowd like a pro. She figured out pretty quick that the day was all about her!
