Kyla started walking!!! she is such a cutie pie and it is such a joy to see! watch and smile!

Spring is in the air!

WOW has it been too long since I last posted! forgive me to all who have been waiting around for new updates and pictures!
The month of February and March went by in a flash and Kyla began to really walk around the house holding furniture. It was so cute to watch her take steps and letting go and plopping down on her diapered butt!
April had been busy. I am still babysitting my nephew Mason. HE is turning into a little charmer! The beginning of the month during Easter weekend Kyla developed her first illness. Luckily it wasn't much more that a fever. It was pretty scary at times when she would have such a high temp and start shaking. We were unable to do anything for Easter except stay home and relax. Just what she needed!
Dustin and I went on our first night date this month too! that was a bit different for us! My mom came up for the night and watched Kyla while we went to a wedding. IT was so fun to dress up and go out for an evening with no baby. Don't get me wrong. I love Kyla. I just really missed going out for the evening.
This week Dust and I had our turkey season. We went out Wednesday morning at 5 am and set up in a nice wooded spot. At 6:45 am he shot a nice Jake! It was such a blast. We continued to hunt the rest of the day with me missing a nice Tom about an hour before the day closed. I was disappointed but hopeful that I would get another opportunity.
Friday came and Dust got of a couple of hours early! We set up again by his parents place and I was able to fulfill my dream of getting a turkey at about 6:30 PM. IT was a rush! I will definitely be doing that again.
Now the focus of my life is getting ready for Kyla's first birthday party. My mom is helping me ALOT with decorating! I am VERY thankful for it too!
